As a symbol of the town, Telšiai bear can be found in many expected and unexpected places.
This one, seemingly, dispenses drinking water for thirsty town visitors.
In recent years Telšiai has become a popular tourist destination with its beautifully restored town centre, fun street art created by students and resort-like atmosphere with the nearby lake beckoning for a swim.
Visitors love the fact that the locals here still use their Samogitian dialect in their daily life. Although many people from other parts of Lithuania find it really difficult to understand it… 🙂
…but that doesn’t stop them from booking special town tours conducted in Samogitian dialect!
