It’s because the city absolutely adores these celestial creatures and they are dotted here and there all over the place.
Vilnius angels, the little adorable white statues, first appeared in the city in 2004, it was an initiative of the then Mayor of Vilnius and a creation of sculptor Vaidotas Ramoska.
Today they are truly a part of Vilnius aesthetic fabric.
